The successful applicant will participate in the monitoring of designated cultural resource sites located on Wildlife Division lands located adjacent to Lake Oahe, Lake Sharp, Lake Francis Case and Lewis and Clark Lake along the Missouri River in South Dakota. This work will consist of on-the-ground site visits assessing the condition of cultural sites which will include compiling written and photo documentation of natural and man-made impacts to these sites. The applicant will work with Division of Wildlife personnel but will also work closely with the US Army Corps of Engineer and SD Archaeological Research Center archaeologists. Applicant will also participate in locating and signing Title VI lands along Lake Oahe. Duties will consist of using GIS equipment to locate survey pins and properly sign as a Game Production Area.
