Grab a cup of coffee or your lunch and join us as we explore some of the topics that are affecting the museum world today.
Dates and Topics:
June 30th at 11:30am CT: “Looking past 2020” by Ali Tonsfeldt. COVID did a number to many museums. See how we can look beyond 2020 and focus on 2021 with some new ideas.
July 7th at 11:30am CT: “Creating a Mobile App on a Dime” by Rachel Farrell. Not every museum can afford an expensive app, but the Dakotaland Museum figured out how create an app on anyone’s budget.
August 4th at 11:30am CT: “When Good Enough Isn’t– Five New Looks at Old Issues” by Rick Mills. Going back to the basics and looking at the issues with new eyes and understanding.
September 1st at 11:30am CT: "Your Future Museum" by Troy Kilpatrick. Join Troy as he talks about the future of museums and where things are going.
October 6th at 11:30am CT: "Major Gifts: Are you prepared?" by Patricia Kendall. When the pleasantly unexpected happens, does your museum board have a gift acceptance polity that will meet both the donor's request and your museum's needs.
